In recent years, the design of smartphones has become increasingly focused on being thin, light and convenient, which not only sets higher standards for device integration, but also brings challenges to the implementation of many emerging functions. Taking wireless charging, which is becoming increasingly widely used, as an example, the entire industry is working towards achieving a more efficient integration solution without sacrificing charging efficiency and user experience, so that more consumers can accept it.
With its deep experience in power management, Southchip Technology has launched a number of highly integrated wireless charging solutions to help customers improve the wireless charging efficiency of terminal products . Among them, the single-chip wireless power transceiver SC9624 has been mass-produced in customer products and can support 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.
Highly integrated, lightweight experience
SC9624 adopts 2.875mm*4.035mm WLCSP-54 package, and integrates ultra-low on-resistance full-bridge synchronous rectifier and programmable high-performance low-dropout regulator (LDO), which can not only reduce external components but also achieve higher energy conversion efficiency. The integrated MLDO supports output voltage from 3.5V to 15V with an adjustment step of 10mV.
SC9624 integrates the functions of transmission and reception, and can give the terminal device the ability to reverse charge. As a receiver, it can receive a maximum of 15W (12V/1.25A) power to charge the terminal device; as a transmitter, it can output a maximum of 5W power to reverse charge other devices.
Rich in functions, no loss of efficiency
SC9624 continues Southchip Technology's consistent pursuit of efficiency. The power consumption is less than 5mA in standby mode and only 250μA in sleep mode. The ultra-low quiescent current reduces energy loss. On this basis, SC9624 provides rich protocol support, interface parameters and protection mechanisms, providing customers with a more flexible All-in-one wireless solution.
-
Compatible with the Wireless Charging Alliance Qi 1.3 version protocol and supports private protocols
-
Built-in industry-leading 32-bit MCU with extremely low standby power consumption and 32kB MTP memory, providing greater flexibility for system firmware updates
-

-
In addition to smartphones, it can also be used in tablet computers, medical and industrial measurement, etc.
Nanxin Technology Wireless Charging Series Family
Recently, SC9624 has been mass-produced in the latest mobile phone Edge 50 released by Lenovo Motorola. This phone has a slim body, with a thickness of only 7.79mm; it has a built-in 5000mAh large-capacity battery, which can achieve 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. Nanxin always adheres to the value of "customer-centric and result-oriented", solves customer design pain points with excellent product quality, and helps customers mass produce products with complete delivery capabilities.
In the field of wireless charging chips, we have different types of products such as AFE, SoC, controllers, etc., providing industry-competitive solutions and bringing customers higher efficiency, flexibility and safety.
