On May 14, market research firm Canalys released a report today stating that in the first quarter of 2024, the global TWS (true wireless) headset market shipments reached 65 million, a year-on-year increase of 6%. The top five were Apple, Xiaomi, Samsung, boAt (IT Home Note: Indian headset manufacturer) and Huawei.

In the global market, Apple's shipments fell 8% year-on-year, but it still ranked first with 16 million shipments and a market share of 25%; Xiaomi was the fastest growing among the top five manufacturers, with a year-on-year increase of 61%, surpassing Samsung for the first time and ranking second; Samsung and Indian manufacturer boAt's shipments did not fluctuate much, occupying 8% and 5% of the market share respectively; Huawei's shipments reached 2.2 million units, a year-on-year increase of 13%, surpassing Edifier to enter the top five.

In the domestic market, Xiaomi grew by 76% year-on-year, occupying 20% ​​of the market share and ranking first; Apple was surpassed by Xiaomi and ranked second. Huawei grew by 8% year-on-year, surpassing Edifier to become the third, and the gap in market share with Apple narrowed. Edifier and Baseus ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
