According to a report by Mark Gurman in the latest issue of his Power On newsletter, Apple plans to announce the long-awaited AR/VR headset this spring, before the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Equipment products.

Gurman said that prototypes of the headset have been distributed to a small number of developers for testing, but he said that the device is far from complete and Apple still needs to solve several "issues" in the hardware and software.
According to him, the focus of the Apple engineering team has now shifted to xrOS, which has even led to the scale of the iOS 17 update internally codenamed "Dawn" to be "much smaller than expected."
Previous news said that this AR/MR headset will be the most complex product ever designed by Apple. It has an ultra-high-resolution 8K display and advanced eye-tracking technology, and is equipped with up to 15 cameras to accurately detect Eyeball recognition and tracking, etc.
Because Apple has put so much effort into it, the price of the device is also very "touching." Analysts predict that the price of Apple's AR/MR headset is expected to be US$2,000-2,500 or more, which is approximately RMB 13,500 to 17,000. .
