According to nokiapoweruser, Nokia XR21 5G, Nokia X21 5G and Nokia X11 5G smartphones will be launched in the second half of 2022.
Sources revealed that Nokia Mobile plans to launch a number of Nokia X and G series 5G smartphones in the second half of this year, many of which will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G processors instead of the previously frequently used Unisoc processors.
Foreign media believe that these X-series smartphones may use screens with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the high-end products of the new G-series smartphones may also have 120 Hz displays.
The naming of the new phone has not yet been determined, but names like Nokia XR21, Nokia X21 and Nokia X11 are the most likely, but they are not necessarily 100% unchanged.
From HMD Global's press release on Qualcomm, we can see that Nokia hinted that they are considering using products such as the Snapdragon 480 Plus in future smartphones. IT Home learned that Nokia Mobile used the Snapdragon 480 5G processor in its 2021 mobile phones.
Therefore, HMD Global is likely to launch an upgraded Nokia smartphone equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus. However, although the Snapdragon 480 Plus is definitely stronger than the Snapdragon 480, fans think this is a bit disappointing. They would rather see a new flagship with a high-end processor rather than this cost-effective model.
