According to previous news, Redmi may launch a new "Little King Kong" product - the Redmi Note 12 series between April and May.
It is worth noting that according to the product plan previously announced by Redmi, the Note series in the first half of the year will be products focusing on performance, while in the second half of the year it will be products focusing on comprehensive and balanced configuration.
The Redmi Note 12 series will be the "Little King Kong" that focuses on performance.
According to the latest news, the Redmi Note 12 series has been connected to the network and its basic parameters have been announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
It is reported that the two models announced this time are both high-end versions of the Redmi Note 12 Pro series. The specific specifications are as follows:
The Redmi Note 12 Pro model is 22041216C. It has a 6.6-inch screen on the front, a built-in battery with a rated capacity of 4980mAh, and the body dimensions are 163.64x74.29x8.8mm.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ model is 22041216UC, with a 6.6-inch screen, a built-in battery with a rated capacity of 4300mAh, and a body size of 163.64x74.29x8.8mm.
Judging from the battery parameters, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ should bring stronger fast charging. Based on previous product planning, Redmi has begun to equip the new phone with around 67W fast charging as standard. As the top-end version, Pro+ does not rule out the possibility of being equipped with 120W fast charging.
The biggest highlight of Redmi Note 12 is its performance. It has been previously reported that the series will be equipped with MediaTek's high-performance platform, most likely the currently popular Dimensity 8000 series, with very powerful performance.
If true, this will also be the first time in history that the Redmi Note series has adopted a flagship-level 5G chip, which is very rare at this price point and is worth looking forward to.
