【GD32E503 Review】 Unboxing and Powering on the Machine [Copy link]

The slow express finally arrived at my place. I took it back last night and couldn’t wait to open the package, take out the GD32E503V-EVAL development board I had been looking forward to for a long time, and immediately powered it on for testing (see the picture below):

The board has been pre-burned with a DEMO program for controlling the LED. Touch the green "button" on the screen and the corresponding LED will light up:

If you touch other places on the screen, a prompt "Please press the button!" will appear. The following picture is a specific shot of the development board:

In the previously downloaded data, no pack upgrade package was found and the corresponding folder was empty:

I opened the example provided by the manufacturer and entered Keil to try to upgrade the pack, but the download failed repeatedly:

Since the pack could not be upgraded, the Keil platform also gave a prompt:

No corresponding MCP option found:

So the development platform has not been established yet. I will try it tomorrow morning when the network is idle:

Yes, maybe I haven't gotten started yet. When I encountered difficulties in upgrading the pack before, I usually waited until around 6 o'clock the next morning when the network was off-peak to upgrade it more easily. However, this morning I got up at 6 o'clock and tried to upgrade, but it didn't succeed until after 7 o'clock: [  Details Published on 2021-1-4 09:04

Yeah, maybe I haven't gotten started yet.

When I encountered difficulties in upgrading the pack before, I usually waited until around 6 o'clock the next morning when the network was off-peak to upgrade it. However, this morning I got up at 6 o'clock and tried to upgrade, but it was unsuccessful until after 7 o'clock:

I searched on the GigaDevice official website but couldn't find it:

I searched the official website according to the file name provided in the user manual but still couldn't find it:

Search results:

Does the moderator have this upgrade package? Can you send me a copy? Thank you!

Or maybe I didn’t master the search method and didn’t click the drop-down button:

The board is good and has rich peripherals. I'll see if I have a chance to play with it later.
