Google launches 'Transition to Android' app for iOS
Google launched a new "Switch to Android" app on iOS this week that's designed to make it easy for iPhone users to transition to Android-based devices. As TechCrunch notes, Google launched the app in the US and several other markets on Monday without much fanfare. The app promises to help users move important data securely, quickly, and wirelessly. Google already maintains a "Switch to Android" website with instructions for transferring photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events, and it also provides instructions for turning off iMessage and moving photos and videos from iCloud.
Meta will launch the first generation of AR glasses in 2024
According to foreign media reports, people familiar with the matter revealed that Facebook's parent company Meta plans to launch the first generation of AR (augmented reality) glasses by 2024. In 2026, Meta will launch the second generation of products, which will be lighter and more advanced in design. And by 2028, Meta will also launch a more complete third generation product.
