The OnePlus 10 Pro, which was launched in China in January, will be released globally on March 31, and just ahead of its international launch event, OnePlus took to its forums to talk about how the flagship will offer fast and smooth performance through its hardware and software. However, OnePlus also revealed a very interesting point about the charging speed of the 10 Pro, which may disappoint fans in some regions.
IT Home learned that OnePlus revealed that the international version of the OnePlus 10 Pro will also support 80W wired fast charging, which can charge a 5000mAh battery from 1% to 100% in 32 minutes. However, the charging speed of the European, Indian and North American models can only reach 65W.
OnePlus said that this is because the "80W SUPERVOOC" fast charging does not currently support 110 or 120 volts AC in the above-mentioned regions.
OnePlus didn't reveal how long it takes to fully charge the OnePlus 10 Pro using 65W SuperVooc, but the company says the phone in all regions supports 50W wireless charging and can charge from 1 to 100% in 47 minutes.
