Recently, according to Dahe.com, Wang Ziyin, a relevant person in charge of Huarui Optoelectronics, said that the company's current production capacity is about 30,000 large panels per month, and the next plan is to increase the factory's design capacity to 50,000 large panels per month as soon as possible.
He gave an example, saying, "We produce about 1,666 large panels every day. The screens produced in three days are equivalent to the area of a standard football field, and can be cut into 600,000 5.5-inch mobile phone screens. In terms of product research and development and design, we will continue to launch consumer electronic products, such as wearable watches, smart phones, car displays, industrial displays, medical displays, etc., to improve the color display and product refresh rate of our products, and ultimately reach the benchmark level in the industry."
It is understood that Huarui Optoelectronics was established in the port area as a key investment attraction project of Henan Province in 2017. The company introduced the fifth-generation TFT-LCD panel production line of LG of South Korea. Prior to this, the province achieved leapfrog development of the electronic information industry with the entry of large groups such as Foxconn and their supply chain systems, but key links in the industrial chain such as chips and panels were still blank. It can be said that the landing and production of Huarui Optoelectronics filled the gap in Henan's new display industry and completely changed the situation of "lack of chips and screens" in Henan.
The Huarui Optoelectronics project started in February 2019 and it took 208 days to complete the topping-out of the main factory building; in 2020, the transportation, installation and commissioning of the production line equipment began, and it took more than two months to complete the moving-in of STK (smart warehousing) equipment and process equipment; on December 31, 2020, the project was successfully lit up, and it took only more than 120 days from the moving-in of the main equipment to the lighting of the product, creating an amazing "optoelectronics speed, port speed".
As of August 2021, the company has developed more than 10 LCD panel products. Among them, the TN (Twisted Nematic) LCD panel used in feature phones has been mass-produced in the first quarter of 2021. IPS (In-Plane Switching) products and in-Cell (a method of embedding touch panel functions into liquid crystal pixels) products used in smart phones, tablets, laptops, industrial control and other products have also been mass-produced in recent days.
Wang Ziyin said that in the next three to five years, Huarui Optoelectronics will move forward step by step, while also looking further ahead. In the past two years, the company's core work has been to complete the entire equipment duplication and improve production capacity and yield, so that the fundamentals can reach the industry average, and gradually increase the proportion of products in the industrial control, medical, and automotive display fields to 30%-40%. Such products have higher gross profit margins and more extensive terminal applications. If Huarui Optoelectronics can successfully enter this field, its product structure will be more reasonable, its profit margin will be higher, and its development pace will be more stable.
