Google officially releases Android 12 "Game Mode" and updates the list of supported games

 On the morning of January 30, Google added the Game Dashboard function to the Android 12 system, a mode optimized for hardware + games, but this function is only suitable for Pixel 6 series mobile phones. Recently, the Google App Store updated the list of supported games.

　　The listing is called "Optimized for Pixel 6". The feature can optimize the user's experience when playing games on smartphones. Users can enable "Gaming Dashboard" from System Settings > Apps > General > Gaming Settings.

　　When you open a compatible game, you'll see a floating bubble. In compatible games, the Optimize tile (located below the row of screen capture, recording, FPS counter, and Do Not Disturb shortcuts, next to YouTube Live Streaming) will have three modes:

　　Performance: Maximizing Frame Rate

　　Standard: Use the game's default settings

　　Power saving mode: Extend battery life

　　Currently, the game dashboard is only available for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. It does not appear on other phones running Android 12, but in fact, domestic mobile phone manufacturers have already taken similar actions, that is, a similar "game mode". This is just an official system-level optimization by Google. Google has stated that the game mode API will be available on "some" Android 12 devices later this year. Samsung is already a partner in this work, and "more manufacturers are on the way."
