On January 26, Phone Arena revealed the price of the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
Leaked information shows that the price of Samsung Galaxy S22 is US$899 (approximately RMB 5,700), the price of Galaxy S22+ is US$1,099 (approximately RMB 6,900), and the price of Galaxy S22 Ultra is US$1,299 (approximately RMB 8,200).
If the price is true, the Galaxy S22 will be $100 more expensive than the previous generation Galaxy S21, which started at $799 (about RMB 5,100).
As for the Chinese version that everyone is concerned about, the first launch price of the previous generation Galaxy S21 in China was 4,999 yuan, and it is not ruled out that the price of the Galaxy S22 Chinese version will exceed 5,000 yuan. It is much more expensive than the Xiaomi 12, which is also positioned as a small-screen flagship. PS: The starting price of Xiaomi 12 is 3,699 yuan.
According to the leaked information, the Galaxy S22 uses a center-mounted hole-punch AMOLED straight screen with equal width on all four sides. The screen size is 6.06 inches and its body width is less than 71mm, making it stress-free to operate with one hand.
In terms of core configuration, the Galaxy S22 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 flagship processor, and the version sold in Europe is equipped with Exynos 2200 flagship processor. The rear main camera is 50 million pixels and supports OIS optical image stabilization.
The phone will be officially released on February 9th.
