HMD Global may have another entry-level Nokia feature phone in the works, if the latest FCC information is anything to go by. Interestingly, this device will feature a clamshell design. The Nokia N139DL carries the model number TA-1398 and may be launched soon.
The Nokia N139DL is perhaps the second clamshell design phone to be launched recently, with the Nokia 2720 4G being released in May this year as the first clamshell phone based on the KaiOS operating system.
The FCC document shows that the design of Nokia N139DL will not be much different from Nokia 2720 4G. The battery capacity of this model will be 1450mAh, which is almost similar to the 1500mAh battery of 2720 4G. The listing also shows that this device will support Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity.
Earlier, the device had received certification from the WiFi Alliance, indicating that it will be powered by KaiOS 3.0.
