According to MSPoweruser, Samsung may still be preparing for the Galaxy Note 22 series of phones in 2022. The main highlight of the Galaxy Note 22 series is of course the integrated S Pen stylus, and a new Samsung patent shows that the company wants to add a few more tricks to the S Pen project.

Recently, LETSGO DIGITAL exposed a patent of Samsung Electronics for a "portable terminal including a detachable camera". The patent shows that Samsung adds a wireless camera module to the S Pen, which can then perform multiple functions.

One is to replace the front-facing camera by popping up magnetically when needed.

Secondly, the camera can be completely removed and used as a wireless camera for selfies or other purposes.

Finally, the S Pen could include a clip that lets you attach it to clothing or other objects, again providing new options for its use.

IT Home learned that the patent shows that the S Pen camera will communicate wirelessly with your phone via WIFI, Bluetooth or NFC, otherwise it will be used as an integrated camera. Of course, the device will retain its full S Pen stylus functionality, including being a remote control for the main camera and supporting air gestures.
