Recently, MaiDi Microelectronics (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MaiDi Microelectronics) announced the completion of a RMB 10 million angel round of financing. This round of financing was jointly led by Turing Ventures and Ceyuan Ventures. The funds will be mainly used for the continuous R&D and innovation of chip technology, chip product design, tape-out and mass production, and to explore more cooperation models.
It is reported that MaiDi Microelectronics was established in 2020 and is a supplier of battery-free IoT chips. Its products are widely used in consumer electronics, medical electronics, industrial manufacturing, smart agriculture and other fields. It has independently developed high-efficiency energy collection technology, ultra-low power consumption sensor circuit technology, and high-efficiency wireless communication technology, and completed the tape-out and test verification of a number of battery-free IoT chips, effectively solving the standby time problem of many IoT applications.
The company's core founding team has many years of experience in chip design and R&D, and has achieved outstanding results in energy harvesting chips, low-power wireless communication chips, low-power sensor chips, etc.
The co-founder of MaiDi Microelectronics said that our core technology can significantly reduce the power consumption of traditional IoT chips. The high-efficiency energy harvesting technology successfully developed can help customers solve the problem of system node standby time in many IoT applications; at the same time, it can reduce the size of nodes, so that IoT system modules can achieve low power consumption and miniaturization. In the coming year, MaiDi Microelectronics will continue to innovate products to meet more new IoT application needs.
