Recently, China Telecom announced that China Telecom Hubei Company has built a three-gigabit network in 18 universities in Wuhan. The "three-gigabit network" refers to full coverage of gigabit broadband, gigabit 5G, and gigabit WiFi. This can achieve seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, allowing users on campus to enjoy high-bandwidth, low-latency networks.
The completion of the three-gigabit network will help the construction of online education systems in colleges and universities, as well as the comprehensive management of campus big data, and will be conducive to the construction of smart campuses.
The project was initiated by China Telecom at the beginning of this year, with the goal of adding 5G outdoor stations and 5G indoor systems to 32 universities in Wuhan.
