Recently, Zhixiang Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhixiang Optoelectronics) completed a B round of financing of tens of millions of yuan, with Shanghai Changjiang Guohong as the sole investor. It is reported that this round of financing is the second round of financing completed by Zhixiang Optoelectronics after the A+ round at the beginning of the year. Previously, it had received investment from institutions such as China Science and Technology Innovation Star, Shenzhen Capital Group, National Small and Medium Enterprise Fund, Softbank China, and Shenzhen Open Source.
Zhou Xiang, founder of Zhixiang Optoelectronics, said that the financing will be used for the research and development of a new generation of products, technology iteration and market promotion, and will continue to chip optical, digital drive and imaging technologies to provide large-scale urgently needed products for downstream fields such as VR/AR, 3D printing, intelligent manufacturing, digital entertainment, etc., meeting the global users' requirements for high performance and low cost of 3D digitalization.
Founded in 2014, Zhixiang Optoelectronics is a technology company focusing on the research and development and production of high-precision structured light 3D cameras and vision system solutions. It has subsidiaries in Xi'an, Zhejiang, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hong Kong and other places.
According to official news from Zhixiang Optoelectronics, the company has established a complete independent technology system from micro-nano chips to intelligent optical imaging algorithms. Its high-precision structured light 3D camera and visual system have been implemented in industrial vision, consumer-grade high-precision 3D scanning modeling, security and medical fields, and its business covers China and many countries around the world.
Zhixiang Optoelectronics has been deeply engaged in 3D technology for more than ten years and has a series of products with independent intellectual property rights in hardware and software, which can solve the pain points of poor performance and high cost of 3D scanning in industrial and consumer applications.
