In the first half of 2021, the company's AR/VR shipments increased significantly year-on-year, and the annual shipments will be higher than the whole of last year.
Regarding the company's private placement and investment projects, United Optoelectronics said that the company's private placement and investment projects are mainly "new display and smart wearable product manufacturing projects". After the project is completed and put into production, it can achieve an annual output of 18 million sets of automotive lens products, 2 million sets of new projection lens products and 580,000 sets of VR/AR all-in-one machines. At present, there is no cooperation with Tencent in VR.

In the field of security, United Optoelectronics' products have successfully entered the first-tier security equipment manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua Technology, Uniview Technology, and Huawei, and have been widely used in the construction of major national projects such as "Safe City" and "Smart Transportation". In particular, United Optoelectronics' security high-definition integrated machine lens has occupied a large market share in the security industry with its excellent quality and performance.
