Fast charging has now become a standard feature of most mobile phone brands.
Models like Xiaomi, iQOO, OPPO, realme, OnePlus, etc. already support super fast charging. Among them, Xiaomi MIX 4, iQOO 8 Pro, etc. support 120W super fast flash charging, OPPO Find X3 series and OnePlus 9 series support 65W super fast charging, and the charging speed is very fast.
In comparison, the two giants, Apple and Google, are not as aggressive about fast charging as domestic mobile phone brands.
Take Google as an example. The charger that came with the Pixel 5 released last year has an output power of 18W, while the battery capacity of Google Pixel 5a is 4080mAh. You can imagine how fast it is to charge the Pixel 5 with 18W fast charging.
Now that Google is about to release the Pixel 6 series, the slow charging situation has finally improved.
On August 20, according to 91Mobile, Google Pixel 6 series supports 33W fast charging, which is nearly double the power of Pixel 5.
However, it is a bit regrettable that the Google Pixel 6 series will not be equipped with a charger, and consumers need to purchase it separately. The reason is "environmental protection". The recently released Google Pixel 5a is Google's last mobile phone to be equipped with a charger.
Google said that the Pixel 6 series will be officially released this fall, including Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
