Recently, Beijing Alled Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Alled) underwent industrial and commercial changes. New shareholders included Huawei-affiliated companies Shenzhen Hubble Technology Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) and Ningbo Hanlan Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership). At the same time, the company's registered capital increased from 37.65 million to approximately 57.0628 million, an increase of approximately 51.56%.

Tianyancha shows that Oleide is a developer of OLED display driver chips. The company was established in 2019. The legal representative is Zhang Jinfang, who holds 50.91% of the shares. In addition, Huawei Hubble holds about 16.49% of the company's shares, making it the second largest shareholder.

It is well known in the industry that the OLED driver chip is the "central nervous system" of the OLED screen. Its ability to control electric current significantly affects the imaging quality. The pixel resolution, interface type and other performance indicators it can support also determine the application scenarios of the OLED display.

However, the driver IC products needed by domestic OLED panel manufacturers are still heavily dependent on imports. However, with the continued efforts of Huawei and other domestic manufacturers, this situation is expected to change.

Recently, according to media reports, Huawei HiSilicon's first self-developed OLED driver chip has completed tape-out in 2020 and has now entered the trial production stage. It will soon be officially delivered to suppliers, and Huawei's own products are also expected to adopt it.

In this regard, the author confirmed with industry insiders that "Huawei HiSilicon OLED driver chips will be put into production at a 40nm production line of a foundry in mainland China, and mass production is expected to begin in the first half of next year, with a production capacity of about 200,000 to 300,000 pieces per month." This also indirectly confirms the claim of trial production.
