According to the latest report from DigiTimes, the iPad mini 6 will also adopt a mini-LED display and will be shipped together with the new MacBook Pro.

People familiar with the matter said that backlight unit (BLU) manufacturer Radiant Optoelectronics will start supplying mini-LED screens for MacBook Pro and iPad mini in the third quarter of this year, and shipments will further increase in the fourth quarter.

Compared with traditional LCD, mini-LED has the advantages of higher brightness, higher contrast and deeper black.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously said that an iPad mini with a mini-LED display is under development, and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and Debby Wu also reported that a new iPad mini will be released later this year.
