Previously, media playfuldroid revealed that Huawei will launch a new mid-range phone called Huawei nova 8i in Southeast Asian markets such as Malaysia and the Philippines.
From the renderings released by playfuldroid, we can see that the back panel of Huawei nova 8i does not inherit the design elements of nova8, but adopts a similar appearance to Huawei Mate 30 series, equipped with a four-camera ring lens module. In addition, judging from the recessed power button, the phone may use a side fingerprint unlocking solution.
In terms of appearance, according to playfuldroid, Huawei nova 8i will have three color schemes: Moonlight Silver, Starry Black and Interstellar Blue. It will use a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a left-hole solution and a screen-to-body ratio of 94.7%.
In terms of parameters, Huawei nova 8i will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, equipped with 64 million main camera + 8 million ultra-wide angle + 2 million macro + 2 million depth of field quad camera, built-in 4300mAh capacity battery, supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging, runs Android11's EMUI 11, and will be upgraded to HarmonyOS later.
It is understood that in December last year, Huawei officially released the nova 8 series, including nova 8 and nova 8 Pro, with starting prices of 3,699 yuan and 4,399 yuan respectively. The nova 8 series is positioned as "the industry's first 5G mobile phone designed specifically for Vlog shooting." At the same time, nova 8 Pro also teamed up with the mobile game "Honor of Kings" to jointly launch its 90FPS ultra-high frame rate version.
In terms of appearance, the nova 8 series adopts a new design element, and the star-shaped ring lens group design on the body is like a star track imprint, which is uniquely recognizable. Among them, the nova 8 Pro adopts an 80° ultra-curved ring screen design, with a body as thin as 7.85mm and a weight of only 184g.
As a "Vlog" phone, the nova 8 Pro video lens supports 100° ultra-wide angle, super anti-shake and 3Mic stereo sound reception, which can clearly pick up sound within a range of 5 meters and reduce background noise. The Huawei nova 8 series continues the fashion line of the nova series and brings a stunning new appearance in color 8. It uses a combination of "double-film double-plating" and AG anti-glare glass technology, with a gorgeous reflective effect.
