Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared a report with investors in which he predicted that iPhone 13 shipments will be even stronger.
Kuo believes that Apple will see stronger iPhone sales not only in 2021, but also next year, 2022. He expects shipments to reach 230 million-240 million to 250 million-260 million units in 2021 and 2022, respectively. In 2020, the brand shipped 195 million units.
Kuo predicts that the iPhone's share of the high-end market will increase in the second half of 2021. Apple is expected to release four new iPhones this year with smaller notches, upgraded cameras, 120 Hz refresh rates, and a new A15 processor.
Kuo estimates that the new iPhone will ship 88 million units in the second half of this year, compared to 75 million units in the second half of 2020. He also added that the new iPhone SE will still be launched next year.
The iPhone 13 lineup will include four models, similar to the strategy Apple adopted with the iPhone 12 series last year.
