Apple today handed the second beta of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to developers for testing, and one notable change is that SharePlay is now enabled in FaceTime, allowing two users using the latest beta to share their screens and view apps together.
SharePlay allows users to share experiences, such as watching Apple TV+ shows simultaneously, while communicating with friends and family on FaceTime.
Starting with the second beta of iOS 15, SharePlay is available in the Apple TV and Apple Music apps.
Apple has also begun accepting apps that use the GroupActitivity framework through App Store Connect, according to Jordan I Bruin, the developer of a new app, which means third-party apps that offer SharePlay integration may soon be able to launch beta versions through TestFlight.
