As we all know, users are currently limited in their ability to play Fortnite on their iPhones. However, this may change later this year.
Nvidia’s director of product management confirmed that Fortnite will be available on its cloud gaming platform GeForce Now in October. That means when the game returns to iOS, it won’t be available on Apple’s App Store.
Apple and Epic are in the midst of a court battle that will be finalized in the coming weeks. First spotted by iMore, users will be able to play Fortnite on iOS in October via the cloud gaming platform GeForce Now.
GeForce Now debuted in 2020 and is currently in beta on iOS Safari. Due to Apple's restrictions on cloud gaming apps on iOS, Nvidia launched GeForce Now, a web-based cloud gaming platform. After being removed from the App Store, GeForce Now will become the first platform that allows users to play Fortnite on iOS.
