On April 28, Xinpengwei released its Q1 performance report, stating that the company achieved operating income of 143 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 125.99%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 29.5632 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 129.25%.
Regarding the substantial improvement in operating performance, Xinpengwei stated that the strong demand in downstream application markets such as home appliances, fast charging, and communication base stations has driven a substantial increase in sales in the three major markets of home appliances, standard power supplies, and industrial control power. At the same time, the comprehensive gross profit margin of products reached 40.52%, an increase of 0.54% over the same period last year, driving a substantial increase in net profit.
According to the information, Xinpengwei focuses on developing power semiconductor products mainly based on power management integrated circuits, achieving import substitution, providing customers with high-performance, low-power, and stable-quality chip products, and promoting the energy efficiency and technological upgrade of the entire machine. At present, it has more than 700 models of power management chips in production, which are widely used in many fields such as home appliances, mobile phone and tablet chargers, set-top boxes and notebook adapters, car chargers, smart meters, industrial control equipment, etc.
Since last year, the consumer electronics market, including home appliances, smart phones, and tablet computers, has maintained a rapid growth trend, while the electric vehicle, industrial robot, cloud computing, and Internet of Things markets will also usher in historic development opportunities. This will create huge demand for power management chips, thereby bringing a broad market space to the power management chip industry and helping Xinpengwei's performance to grow rapidly.
