vivo and Zeiss jointly held an imaging exhibition with the theme of "Paying tribute to professionalism with professionalism"

       Sina Digital News reported on April 23 that vivo and Zeiss jointly held the "Professionalism Pays Tribute to Professionalism" imaging exhibition. The exhibition was divided into three parts: A Brief History of Light and Shadow, The Place of Light and Shadow, and The Works of Light and Shadow. A Light and Shadow Talk Salon was also organized at the opening ceremony. Xu Wen, Head of Public Relations, Communications and Government Affairs of Zeiss Greater China, An Yiran, vivo Imaging Product Manager, and fashion photographer Gabrielle attended the exhibition. 

　　At the event, the brief history of light and shadow section is the Zeiss Classic Moments Image Space, where visitors can learn about the history of Zeiss by browsing Zeiss's representative moments. The Land of Light and Shadow is the multimedia work "Kaleidoscope" created by artist Liu Zhenchen, which is reshaped through countless beautiful and real images, showing the infinite possibilities of humanity and technology jointly presenting the world.

　　In addition to the photography exhibition, vivo and Zeiss also co-hosted a salon sharing session with the theme of "Light and Shadow Talk". All the works on display were shot with vivo X60 Pro+. At the Light and Shadow Talk Salon, Elaine Xu, head of PR, Communications and Government Affairs for Zeiss Greater China, first shared the story behind Zeiss. In addition to imaging business, Zeiss also has businesses such as movie lenses, microscope equipment, lithography equipment and medical equipment.

　　Afterwards, Elaine Xu used classic works shot with Zeiss lenses to tell the audience about Zeiss' exploration in the field of optics. She said: "Zeiss lenses have been used to record the wonderful moments of human exploration of space, and have also shot countless Oscar-winning classic films. Today, through the cooperation with vivo's mobile imaging, Zeiss lens technology can be shared with more consumers who love imaging and life." Vivo Imaging Product Manager An Yiran also expressed his views with Xu Wen on the possible follow-up cooperation between vivo and Zeiss in mobile imaging.

　　Fashion photographer Gabrielle also shared her understanding of Zeiss. In addition to professional photography, Zeiss also has movie lenses. Movies including "Blade Runner", "Lord of the Rings", "Lost in Translation" were all shot with Zeiss movie lenses. Whether it is a movie that expresses delicate emotions or a large-scale epic movie, Zeiss movie lenses are used. Gabrielle then shared her unique way of using lenses and stories in the process of creating image works. As a senior media person, Li Mengxia, with his many years of experience as an editor-in-chief and photographer, talked about his feelings about the development of images and the significance of images from history to the present.

     On December 17, 2020, vivo officially announced that it had become a global imaging strategic partner with Zeiss, and launched the first cooperative product of the two parties, the vivo X60 series, in January this year. The X60 Pro+ is equipped with the "vivo Zeiss Joint Imaging System", which includes a main camera lens with a GN1 sensor, an ultra-wide-angle micro-gimbal lens, a portrait lens, and a telephoto periscope lens. At the same time, the X60 Pro+ also uses Zeiss T* coating technology, which can improve the transmittance of the lens and reduce glare.
