Recently, Fourier Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fourier"), which focuses on the field of audio signal chain, announced the completion of a RMB 100 million Series B financing. The investors include Wentianxia, Gansheng Capital, Juntong Capital, Transsion, etc. This is another industrial-financial cooperation between Fourier and United Industrial Capital since the last investment by Huaqin.
With the rapid iteration of electronic products, people's pursuit of audio user experience has been continuously improved, which has promoted the technological upgrading of audio chips. The complexity of audio application technology is also increasing. Currently, in the mainstream consumer field, mid-to-high-end audio chips are still mainly provided by European and American manufacturers.
Since its establishment in 2016, the Fourier team has been deeply involved in the audio field for five years. The core members of the team have more than 20 years of experience in industry-leading international semiconductor companies and have a deep understanding of mainstream audio applications. Fourier products are deployed in mobile phones, watches, PCs, TVs, smart speakers and other application fields. After several years of product iteration, Fourier's product performance indicators have been synchronized with European and American manufacturers, and have surpassed competitors in some functions. Fourier's mainstream products have been mass-produced and shipped on multiple projects of international first-line brands, with cumulative shipments exceeding 100 million units.
Xu Xiaolin, founder and chairman of Fourier, said that Fourier has a natural audio gene, and many colleagues in the team are audio enthusiasts. Along the way, audio enthusiasts have been contacting us, hoping to join our team and make their hobbies a career. Fourier will continue to focus on the audio signal chain, and is also actively developing audio peripheral related fields, such as power supply, tactile motor drive, etc., and plans to build Fourier into a professional digital-analog hybrid signal chain company in multiple application fields.
The investment team of Juntong Capital said: "We are very happy to participate in Fourier's Series B financing. We have seen the Fourier team's passion for entrepreneurship, their pursuit of excellence in products, and their keen control of the market. They have achieved the goal of going from 0 to 1 and are entering a period of rapid development from 1 to 10. The Chinese audio chip market will usher in huge development opportunities. We look forward to working with Fourier and growing with the Fourier team amid challenges and opportunities."
