Audio giant Marshall has unveiled a new pair of wireless earphones, its first true wireless earphones. Called the Marshall Mode II, they're identical to most of its earphones in design and functionality.
The Marshall Mode II earphones are suitable for use while working out, as they have an IPX4 water resistance rating. You can get up to five hours of playback on a single charge, but you can increase that to 25 hours with the charging case. The charging case can charge the earphones up to four times, and you won’t have to wait too long when the earphones are off, as the case charges via a USB-C port and also supports wireless charging.
The Marshall Mode II, which features the brand's logo, uses large 6mm drivers to deliver a frequency response between 20Hz and 20kHz, and the company says the earphones are tuned to deliver "thunderous" sound.
In addition, the earphones also support touch control, allowing users to make or end calls, as well as control music playback. It can also be used to activate voice assistants such as Siri or Google Assistant.
The Marshall Mode II is priced at $219 (about 1,429 yuan) and will be available on March 18.
