The four production lines of Huaxing's high-generation module phase II project have completed installation and commissioning and are now put into production

According to Huizhou Daily, as of January this year, the second phase of Huizhou Huaxing's high-generation module project has completed the installation and commissioning of four production lines and has been put into production.

The Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics high-generation module project is a sub-project of the TCL module whole machine integration project, with a total investment of 12.9 billion yuan. Zhong Chuan, deputy director of the Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Module Factory, said that the second phase will focus on 8K technology and be compatible with "8X" (80-inch and above large-size products). Compared with the first phase project, the technology is more advanced, the products are more high-end, and the production is more flexible. It will be built into a technologically competitive "8+8" factory.

According to reports, the Phase II project of Huaxing's high-generation modules is supporting the Shenzhen TCL Huaxing T7 project, which is the world's highest-generation and largest-size LCD panel production line. The Phase II project was officially piled on July 9, 2019, the main plant was capped on April 10, 2020, the first main equipment was moved in on August 17, 2020, and it was officially put into production on October 20, 2020.

In addition, the first phase of the project was officially started on May 2, 2017, and put into production on June 12, 2018. Currently, 40 production lines have been put into production, with a monthly LCD module production capacity of over 4 million pieces. The second phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2022. After the completion of the second phase of the project, the Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Module Project will reach the designed annual production capacity of 60 million LCD modules.
