Jailbreak tool unc0ver 6.0.0 released: supports Apple's iOS 14.3-EEWORLD

According to MacRumors on March 1, the development team of "unc0ver" has released version 6.0.0 of the iOS jailbreak software. This jailbreak software can exploit kernel vulnerabilities to crack any Apple device running iOS 11.0 to iOS 14.3.

The Unc0ver team stated on its official website that the tool has been extensively tested on iOS devices with various software versions, including the iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 14.3. The Unc0ver team said that the tool was made based on a vulnerability in the iOS sandbox system.

Apple released iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 in January with security fixes for kernel and WebKit vulnerabilities. The fixes for these vulnerabilities affected jailbreaks for all iPhones and iPads running versions prior to iOS or iPadOS 14. According to a recent tweet from iOS hacker and developer Pwn20wnd, unc0ver exploited the kernel vulnerability patched in iOS 14.4 to find a jailbreak for previous iOS versions, and he said the new version of unc0ver provides "best-in-class speed and stability."

iOS devices that have been upgraded to iOS 14.4 are not compatible with the new unc0ver jailbreak tool, and it is not possible to downgrade to iOS 14.3.
