24 projects including Huangshi Optoelectronics Industrial Technology Research Institute with a total investment of over 22.3 billion yuan started construction

On February 21, a groundbreaking ceremony for major projects in the Huangshi Functional Zone of the Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor was held.

It is reported that there are a total of 24 major projects participating in the concentrated start-up, with a total investment of 22.304 billion yuan, including 6 science and technology park projects, 7 innovation platform projects, and 11 high-tech industry investment projects.

Among them, the innovation platform project includes the Huangshi Optoelectronics Industrial Technology Research Institute project. It is reported that the project was settled in Hubei in September last year, with a total planned investment of 100 million yuan, mainly to build a 5,000 square meter provincial industrial technology research institute, a provincial science and technology enterprise incubator and a professional acceleration park. The project will focus on printed circuit boards, display screens, semiconductors and other fields, build a three-tier service system of "industry think tank + public platform + dual innovation cultivation", and establish a platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the research and development of common technologies.

According to Hubei Daily, the 11 high-tech industry investment projects participating in the centralized groundbreaking ceremony are key projects for strengthening and supplementing the Huangshi optoelectronics and information industry cluster, with a total investment of 13.15 billion yuan, including smart display, smart laser, Dingying Electronics Phase II, Tianji Zhigu Phase II, Junyi OLED new display material research and development and manufacturing, and semiconductor high-end precision equipment manufacturing projects.
