Recently, Huawei announced for the first time its three latest health research projects in the field of sports health, including hypertension management research. Huawei is working with industry experts to develop wearable blood pressure measurement equipment with home medical-grade high-precision blood pressure measurement as the core.
With the development of the mobile health industry, users have put forward higher requirements for out-of-hospital health monitoring capabilities. Among them, continuous blood pressure monitoring is an important indicator for medical diagnosis and daily health monitoring. However, the cuff-type blood pressure monitors used in hospitals are large in size, inconvenient to carry, and have poor measurement comfort experience. Patients often cannot wear them for a long time. Integrating blood pressure detection into wearable devices to achieve long-term and convenient blood pressure measurement is a major challenge at present. At present, the width of commercial wristband blood pressure monitors is about 60mm. If the width of the air bag in the wristband is further reduced, the measured blood pressure value will be too high and the accuracy will be poor.
To this end, Huawei applied for an invention patent on December 29, 2017 entitled "Image processing method, device, equipment and medium based on multi-camera module, a blood pressure measurement device and a blood pressure measurement method" (application number: 201711498237.7), and the applicant was Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the blood pressure measuring device proposed by the present invention. It includes a device body 301, a wristband 302 and a pulse sensor 306. Taking the wristband as an airbag as an example, the device body 301 also includes a housing 309 and a processor 303, a pressure sensor 304 and a micro pump 305 therein. The housing 309 is fixedly connected to the wristband 302 so that the device body 301 is worn on the wrist of the user. The pressure sensor 304 and the micro pump 305 are connected to the processor 303, the sensor interface 307 is the connection port between the pressure sensor 304 and the wristband 302, and the air pump interface 308 is the interface for the micro pump 305 to inflate and deflate the airbag. The pulse sensor 306 is fixed on the contact surface between the wristband 302 and the wrist, located at the center position in the width direction of the wristband, and the outer surface does not exceed the contact surface between the wristband and the wrist. The signal routing connecting the pulse sensor 306 and the processor 303 is arranged through a flexible printed circuit board and a printed circuit board, so that the pulse sensor 306 and the processor 303 are connected.
The processor 303 controls the micro pump 305 through the driving circuit so that the micro pump inflates the airbag through the air pump interface 308 to ensure that the airbag applies linear pressure to the wrist. During the pressurization process, the sensitive element of the pressure sensor 304 is connected to the airbag to obtain the pressure signal in the airbag, and then transmits the pressure signal to the pressure sensor 304 through the sensor interface 307. The pulse sensor 306 obtains the pulse oscillation wave signal at the wrist pulse, and the processor 303 separates the linear pressurization baseline signal from the pressure signal, and then calculates the blood pressure value through the corresponding relationship between the signal and the pulse oscillation wave signal.
The pulse sensor 306 is made of a flexible material, which can make it fit the human body better, and thus the acquired pulse oscillation wave signal is more accurate. And its width should be less than half of the wristband width, so as to ensure that the pulse sensor 306 fits the pulse and can reduce the measurement error caused by the boundary effect as much as possible.
In short, Huawei's patent for a wearable blood pressure measurement device obtains the pulse oscillation wave signal through a pulse sensor fixed on the contact surface between the wristband and the wrist, and the signal offset is small, which solves the problem of poor accuracy of wristband blood pressure monitors in measuring blood pressure in the existing technology.
