On February 1st, not long ago, Samsung pushed the One UI 3.0 system update based on Android 11 to Galaxy Z Fold2 users in overseas regions.

Recently, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold2 in China has finally received the One UI 3.0 update and upgraded to Android 11.

It is reported that the models that have completed the official version of One UI 3.0 include S20 Ultra 5G, S20+ 5G, S20 5G and Galaxy Note 20 series.

This One UI 3.0 upgrade plan covers dozens of devices of various models, and the upgrade cycle will last until September this year.

Last year, Samsung officially released One UI 3.0 based on Android 11, adding new features such as double-clicking the screen to turn off the screen, and supporting clicking the screen to lock focus when taking photos. At the same time, it enhanced dynamic memory allocation and limited background activities to provide better performance and optimize battery usage efficiency.

Not only that, Samsung has also brought new privacy controls, one-time permissions, and enhanced digital health to One UI 3.0.

It should be noted that some built-in applications of the system need to be updated separately after the One UI 3.0 update, including Calculator, Voice Recorder, Samsung Browser, Theme Store, etc.

It is understood that Samsung launched a new generation of 5G folding screen mobile phone - Galaxy Z Fold2 in September last year. The domestic version is priced at 16,999 yuan. Only 12+512GB version is available, with two colors: Mist Gold and Pine Smoke Ink.

In terms of configuration, the Galaxy Z Fold2 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chip and a rear matrix triple-camera, including a 12MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. It supports 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, and has a built-in 4500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

It is worth noting that there have been reports that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold3 in May this year.

It has been revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be equipped with two different design options, including a Z-shaped folding screen and a tablet-like folding method. At the same time, the phone will also support the S Pen stylus.
