On December 25, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board Listing Review Center issued a decision to terminate the review of Quantum Microelectronics Co., Ltd.'s initial public offering and listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.
The announcement shows that on December 24, 2020, Quantum Micro and its sponsor Ping An Securities Co., Ltd. submitted to the Exchange the "Application of Quantum Microelectronics Co., Ltd. to Withdraw Application Documents for Initial Public Offering and Listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board" (Quanteng Micro [2020] No. 5) and "Application for Withdrawal of Application Documents for Initial Public Offering and Listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of Quantum Microelectronics Co., Ltd." respectively, applying to withdraw the application documents. In accordance with the relevant provisions of Article 67 of the "Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board Stock Issuance and Listing Review Rules", the Exchange decided to terminate the review of Quantum Micro's initial public offering and listing on the Science and Technology Innovation Board.
According to the prospectus, Quantum Micro's main business is the research and development, design and sales of analog integrated circuits; the company's main products include audio SoC chips and signal chain chips, and its application areas include consumer electronics, 4G/5G base stations, optical communications, industrial control, etc.
Quantum Micro's audio SoC chips mainly include wireless audio transmission chips, FM/AM transceiver chips, USB audio chips, etc., which are used in the field of consumer electronics. At present, the company's signal chain chips are all data converter products, including analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and integrated data converters, which are mainly used in 4G/5G base stations, optical communications, industrial control and other fields. In the future, the company will gradually expand to other signal chain chip products.
Quantum Micro is one of the few companies in China that has mastered and commercialized high-performance analog-to-digital/digital-to-analog conversion technology, and has an outstanding market position. The company's data converter products can directly replace similar chips from well-known foreign analog IC companies such as Analog Devices and Texas Instruments. The company's product performance, quality and batch supply capabilities have been recognized by domestic mainstream communication equipment manufacturers A and ZTE, and have entered their supply chain system.
