On December 25, Xiaomi's official Weibo account said that the Xiaomi Mi 11 screen has achieved a new breakthrough in high-end screens regardless of cost. This screen is made with crazy materials and a lot of money, creating 13 new breakthroughs in screens, and its cost is comparable to a mainstream TV screen. In 2020, Xiaomi achieved strategic breakthroughs in imaging and charging, and in 2021, the high-end screen strategy will create a new industry display standard for you.
Lei Jun, founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group, said that Xiaomi's high-end flagship has made another breakthrough: a huge investment in customizing the top-level screen. The Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with the best screen ever made by a Xiaomi mobile phone, and it may also be the most expensive screen in the industry.
Previous reports have revealed that Xiaomi 11 uses a 2K resolution screen, supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz, 10-bit color depth, and 1500 nits peak brightness. It also supports functions designed for high-definition screens, such as "video super resolution", which intelligently enhances the resolution of low-definition images or videos to a maximum of 1440p (only supported by some applications), which will slightly increase power consumption.
Compared with the screen of the current top flagship Samsung Note20 Ultra, it also has a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits, but it cannot turn on QHD+ and 120Hz high refresh rate at the same time. I don’t know whether the Xiaomi 11 series supports it.
The official renderings of Xiaomi 11 were exposed a few days ago. Similar to the previous leaks, it adopts a small square matrix 2+1 triple camera design.
