HomePod mini's global performance exceeded expectations

　　In the UK, France and Spain, delivery times for ordering a gray or white HomePod mini today are as long as five to six weeks, and in Germany, delivery times are even shorter, to six to seven weeks, with shipments starting in mid-January.

　　In fact, except for the United States and India, the inventory of HomePod mini is relatively low, which makes users who want to give it as a gift for Christmas a little disappointed.

　　The Asia-Pacific region is also not short. In the first batch of countries and regions, the delivery time of HomePod mini is four to six weeks. The only exception is India, where users can receive HomePod mini in two colors within 7 to 10 working days.

　　In Canada, if you place an order today, it will take four to five weeks for the Space Gray model to arrive, while U.S. delivery time is around two to four weeks, depending on the color you choose.

　　Meanwhile, in-store pickup times vary by country, and in many countries, HomePod mini orders are limited to two per person.

　　The original 2018 HomePod was priced at $349 when it was released, and was considered by many to be too expensive compared to competing products. Perhaps for this reason, it failed to capture a large share of the smart speaker market. In order to increase sales, Apple reduced the price of HomePod to $299 in 2019, and launched a mini version priced at only $99 this year (the Chinese price is RMB 749). So far, it seems that user feedback is good.

　　The first launch of the HomePod mini‌ is happening in Hong Kong, China, as well as in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Availability starts in Mexico and Taiwan this week, and is expected to be available in mainland China soon.
