Xiaomi Group executives visited Wuxi to further increase industrial investment and promote projects

On November 17, senior executives of Xiaomi Group went to Wuxi for inspection. Wuxi Municipal Party Committee Secretary Huang Qin met with Xiaomi Group partner and president Wang Xiang and his delegation, and the two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in various fields.

Huang Qin said that Wuxi is a highland of the new generation of information technology industry and a strong city of advanced manufacturing. Xiaomi has established good partnerships with many Wuxi companies, and the two sides have a good foundation and conditions for cooperation.

Huang Qin said that he hoped the two sides would join hands more closely at the new starting point, further strengthen industrial investment cooperation, and jointly establish an industrial investment fund to serve regional coordination and drive overall development; further strengthen industrial strategic cooperation, promote cutting-edge research and development projects and complete equipment projects to settle in Wuxi, and achieve fruitful results in advanced manufacturing and new economic fields.

Wang Xiang said that in the next stage, the group will combine Wuxi's industrial characteristics, further increase industrial investment, promote project implementation, empower Wuxi's manufacturing companies and start-ups, better realize industrial collaboration and integration, and work with Wuxi to cope with various risks and challenges, and jointly plan for the future while seizing the opportunities of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

Currently, Xiaomi and Wuxi have a good cooperation foundation and relationship in many aspects such as supply chain and investment. Among them, many Wuxi companies such as Xinpeng Microelectronics, Will Semiconductor, and Lixun Microelectronics are important partners of Xiaomi in the field of supply chain; Haoda Electronics is a star project of Xiaomi's industrial investment in the field of communication technology; the total sales volume of Xiaomi mobile power banks produced by Zimi Electronics exceeds 100 million, ranking first in the world.
