According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple intends to launch an iPad with a mini-LED display and AirPods 3 with a design similar to AirPods Pro in the first half of next year.

Kuo's latest prediction concerns the fate of Chinese manufacturer Career Technology, which is expected to become a key partner in Apple's product supply chain in 2021 due to its flexible PCB technology.

LCP (liquid crystal polymer) soft boards are said to provide a flexible way to connect components together while facilitating high-speed, low-latency data transmission. Career Technology is expected to regain orders for acoustic and optical components used in mini-LED iPad soft boards, which will be mass-produced in the first half of 2021, the report said.

Kuo Ming-Chi previously stated that Apple plans to launch six mini-LED products by the end of 2021, including a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, a 27-inch iMac Pro, a 14.1-inch MacBook Pro, a 16-inch MacBook Pro, a 10.2-inch iPad and a 7.9-inch iPad mini.

As for AirPods, the latest news says that Apple is developing the third-generation AirPods, which will go into mass production in the first half of 2021.

The new ‌‌ AirPods‌‌ will use the system-in-package used by the ‌AirPods Pro‌ and have a similar form factor to the ‌AirPods Pro‌, with a shorter stem and replaceable ear tips.
