Some Apple customers who have pre-ordered the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max have found that the shipping information for their orders has been updated, and the official website has informed them that their iPhones are on the way, but for most people, it is unlikely that they will actually be delivered before November 13.
Last Friday, Apple opened pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, the last two models of the current iPhone generation to be released, through the online Apple Store. The first customers to place orders can expect faster delivery, possibly as early as November 13, the launch date announced by Apple for the two models.
Not all customers were able to receive their orders on that day, as the estimated delivery times for both models began to be slipped shortly after they became available for purchase.
Similar to the first wave of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders, customers who ordered quickly are starting to see updates. Some users on Reddit are reporting shipping updates through the systems operated by Apple and its courier partners, with some claiming that orders have been shipped.
As with the first wave of orders and other previous product launches, Apple worked with its delivery partners to try to maintain the products' set release dates, meaning deliveries will generally occur on or after the release date specified by Apple.
