SEMI: North American semiconductor equipment sales reached $2.75 billion in September

Recently, SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Equipment International) released the "North American Semiconductor Equipment Market Data Billing Report for September". Semiconductor equipment manufacturers headquartered in North America had global sales of US$2.75 billion in September this year (based on a three-month average), 3.6% higher than the final level of US$2.65 billion in August and 40.3% higher than US$1.96 billion in September 2019.

“North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers reported another month of sales growth in September, as the industry remains resilient despite challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic and geopolitical tensions,” said Ajit Manocha, president and CEO of SEMI.
