On October 20, TCL Technology stated on its investor interaction platform regarding the panel prices in October that the panel prices for each month can refer to the public data of market research agencies: According to the report in early October, benefiting from the continued improvement in both supply and demand, the industry's supply and demand remained tight in October, and the expectation of price increases for major large-size panels such as 32, 55, 65, and 75 has not changed.
At the same time, TCL Technology predicts: "Next year, driven by sports events and the optimization of the panel structure, the panel industry will usher in long-term fundamental changes. As a major supplier of large-size panels in the world, TCL Huaxing has sufficient orders from first-tier brand customers and its production capacity continues to be in short supply."
In addition, TCL Technology responded to investors about the capacity of the T7 project, saying that the first product of the T7 project was successfully lit on September 8, 2020, marking another solid step towards mass production of the T7 project. In the second half of this year, TCL Huaxing will steadily advance the construction of the T7 project, which is expected to be mass-produced in early 2021. With the release of T7 capacity, TCL Huaxing's large-size capacity area market share will rise to second place in the world. The budget is an estimate of the budget amount of asset investment in the project.
In recent years, TCL Huaxing has been active in the research and development of new display fields, especially printed display OLED technology. In 2016, the research and development building of Guangdong Juhua Printing Display Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Juhua") was officially built on a vacant lot in Guangzhou Science City. TCL Huaxing has successively brought together major domestic companies, universities and research institutions involved in the display industry, such as Tianma Microelectronics, China Electronics Panda, South China University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Fuzhou University, and the Fujian Institute of Structure of Matter of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to jointly initiate the establishment of Guangdong Juhua, a public research and development platform for printed display. This is the only national manufacturing innovation center in the display field-the National Printing and Flexible Display Innovation Center. A year later, TCL Huaxing's wholly-owned subsidiary, Huarui Optoelectronics, was established to specialize in the research and development of OLED display materials for evaporation and printing for Juhua.
