The well-known mobile phone review organization DXOMARK recently announced the camera scores of vivo X50 Pro+, with a photo score of 139, a video recording score of 104, and an overall score of 127. It is currently ranked third, second only to Xiaomi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition and Huawei P40 Pro.
In terms of photography, the vivo X50 Pro+ has rich details and low noise even in low light, accurate white balance and pleasing colors. The disadvantage is that the phone has strong ghosting in motion scenes, underexposure in wide-angle mode, and unnatural colors.
In terms of video recording, the vivo X50 Pro+ has accurate exposure and well-controlled noise. The downside is that the autofocus is occasionally unstable and there is some color cast, especially indoors.
Therefore, DXOMARK gave the following conclusions for the camera test of vivo X50 Pro+:
The vivo X50 Pro+ performed well in DXOMARK's testing, ranking third in the DXOMARK database. Its performance in photo mode is generally very good. In most cases, the phone delivers images with good colors, high details and low noise. The wide-angle camera is a bit lackluster (by flagship standards), which is the only weak point of the phone, but the bokeh simulation mode could perhaps use some polish to reach the level of the best competitors.
The video performance of the vivo X50 Pro+ is also very strong. Its 4K output is rich in details and low in noise, but the problem of color rendering affects its performance.
