Microsoft's first Android phone is the Surface Duo, which has two separate screens and is aimed at productivity tools. The Microsoft Surface Duo was announced in October last year and is expected to be available later this month. If the new certification is to be believed, the Microsoft Surface Duo will also be launched outside the United States.

Microsoft Surface Duo has appeared in the US FCC, Bluetooth SIG certification, and UL LLC certification (Canada). Now, Surface Duo appears on the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications certification website, which means that the Surface Duo dual-screen device will be first sold in many regions around the world. In addition, the device may also be launched in the UK, Australia and other regions.

It is worth noting that the device model in the FCC, Bluetooth SIG, UL LLC Canada and Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications certifications is 1930, which is consistent with the model in the Microsoft Surface Duo simulator.

According to the Japanese certification, the Surface Duo will ship with Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G connectivity, with no mention of 5G support. Support for NFC remains unconfirmed.

IT Home learned from the leak that Microsoft Surface Duo is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 855, 6GB of memory, 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage, two 5.6-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1800 x 1350, support for screen fingerprint recognition, a rear 11-megapixel camera, and a 3460mAh battery. Microsoft Surface Duo does not support 5G or wireless charging.
