Today, TCL Huaxing announced that after two years of overcoming several technical difficulties, it has finally compressed the bottom bezel of the LCD module to the world's smallest 2.4mm (from the display area to the FPC bending apex), and successfully developed the world's narrowest LCD bottom bezel module product.
In recent years, panel technology and processes have been constantly evolving, and the borders of mobile phone panels have undergone many technological changes. The left, right and top borders of the screen have gradually reached the extreme specifications. The bottom border is still the biggest factor affecting the screen-to-body ratio, and further technological breakthroughs are urgently needed.
According to the official introduction, TCL Huaxing established a special technical team, which took two years to overcome several technical difficulties and apply for Huaxing's independent patents. Through innovations in IC design, panel design, and process technology, the conventional layout of various functions on the lower frame panel was broken. Based on the original COG architecture, a new approach was taken to compress the lower frame of the LCD module to the world's smallest 2.4mm (display area to FPC bending vertex), and the world's narrowest LCD lower frame module product was successfully developed. The overall lower frame of the module is 20% smaller than the existing mass production specifications. It effectively reduces the screen border, improves the screen-to-body ratio of the full screen, creates a seamless effect, and truly brings users an ultra-full-screen visual experience.
In view of the characteristics of LCD display technology, TCL Huaxing has tapped into the potential computing power inside the IC, breaking the conventional layout of the IC on the panel and reducing the number of input channels of the IC signal by 3/4. Huaxing's unique high-precision process equipment comprehensively improves the panel design and process capabilities, matches the signal routing required by the new IC, adopts a unique panel appearance design, customizes the special module equipment, comprehensively upgrades the software and hardware, strictly controls the process technology, and strives for excellence in product quality.
TCL Huaxing also announced that the next generation of more stunning full-screen technology is already under development and will be launched on the market in the near future.
