On July 21, the Xiamen Flexible Electronics Research Institute and the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xiamen University jointly established a joint R&D center.
It is reported that the center will integrate the technical innovation resources and industrialization resources of both parties to build it into a leading flexible electronic technology research and development and application platform in mainland China and internationally advanced.
According to Xiamen Daily, the Xiamen Flexible Electronics Research Institute was initiated by companies such as Xiamen Hongxin Electronics, the "first domestic flexible electronics stock", and jointly participated by government platforms, well-known universities and leading companies in related industries. It is a new type of research institute operated in a market-oriented manner and is also the first R&D institution for Xiamen's future industries.
Under the joint promotion of Xiamen Municipal Government, Xiamen University and Hongxin Electronics, Xiamen Flexible Electronics Research Institute joined hands with Xiamen University School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering to establish a joint R&D center. At the same time, it also cooperated with Northwestern Polytechnical University for strategic cooperation.
According to Taiwan Strait Net, Li Qiang, chairman of Xiamen Flexible Electronics Research Institute, said that the establishment of the joint R&D center is another resource integration and industrial upgrading of Xiamen Flexible Electronics Research Institute. Through substantial collaborative cooperation with universities and enterprises, strategic and bottleneck problems that cannot be solved by a single innovation entity can be overcome, thereby obtaining sustainable leading advantages and helping to achieve domestic substitution of production equipment and core components in the field of flexible electronics.
