On July 8, A-shares continued their strong performance. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.74% to close at 3403.44 points, marking seven consecutive increases; the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.84% to close at 13406.37 points; and the ChiNext Index rose 2.34% to close at 2651.97 points.
Driven by the concept of Tesla's industrial chain, the new energy vehicle industry chain continues to attack, and the enthusiasm of capital chasing continues unabated.
As of today's closing, Yiwei Lithium Energy was quoted at 55.68 yuan, up 3.90%, with a total market value of 102.5 billion yuan, successfully breaking through the 100 billion yuan market value mark.
Since its establishment, EVE Energy has been focusing on the research and development, production and sales of lithium batteries. Following the technological development path of the lithium battery industry, it has currently formed three major business segments: lithium primary batteries, consumer lithium-ion batteries and energy storage power lithium-ion batteries. It is one of the few battery manufacturers in the industry with diversified lithium battery production capabilities.
In the first quarter of this year, Yiwei Lithium Energy achieved revenue of 1.309 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.20%, and net profit attributable to shareholders of 252 million, a year-on-year increase of 26.05%. The net profit attributable to shareholders after deducting non-recurring items was 213 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.97%. The first quarterly report performance was consistent with the previous performance forecast and in line with market expectations. At present, in terms of TWS headset bean-shaped batteries, Yiwei Lithium Energy's main customer is Samsung. In the field of power batteries, Yiwei Lithium Energy's ternary soft-pack batteries are mainly used in the field of passenger cars, and currently have customers such as Daimler, Kia, and Xiaopeng.
In order to meet market development and customer needs, Yiwei Lithium Energy recently released a prospectus for the private placement of A-shares on the Growth Enterprise Market. The total amount of funds raised from this private placement of A-shares will not exceed RMB 250,000.00 million. After deducting the issuance costs, the funds will be invested in "bean-shaped lithium-ion battery projects for TWS applications", "high-temperature lithium-manganese battery projects for tire pressure testing and Internet of Things applications", "ternary square power battery mass production research and testing center projects" and to supplement working capital.
Yiwei Lithium Energy said that by building high-quality production capacity of bean-shaped lithium-ion batteries, high-temperature lithium-manganese batteries and mass production research and testing centers for ternary square power batteries, it will further improve and deepen the business layout of lithium primary batteries, consumer lithium-ion batteries and energy storage power batteries. At the same time, by supplementing working capital, it will further enhance the company's capital strength, optimize the asset-liability structure, reduce financial risks, and improve sustainable profitability, creating good conditions for the company to achieve leapfrog development, which is also in line with the vital interests of all shareholders.
