Back in May, vivo announced the vivo Y70s as the first phone to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 880 processor. The company is preparing to release a new phone with similar specs, called the vivo Y70.
Recently, the phone's spec sheet has been published on Weibo. According to Weibo user @Really阿森君, the vivo Y70 will be equipped with a 2400 x 1080 resolution LCD screen provided by JDI and a refresh rate of 60Hz. However, the screen size is not mentioned at present.
The phone will be powered by the Exynos 880 chip and will come with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
For the camera part, the vivo Y70 will be equipped with a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. This is the same camera configuration as the Y70s, but vivo has provided a different selfie camera for the Y70 - an 8-megapixel sensor from the OV8856.
The vivo Y70 will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery and support 18W fast charging through the USB-C port. Unlike the vivo Y70s which has stereo speakers, the vivo Y70 only has a single speaker according to the specs sheet.
The spec sheet also reveals the price of the phone. The 6GB RAM + 128GB version is priced at 1,798 yuan, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB version is priced at 1,998 yuan. There is no news on the release date of the phone yet, but it is expected to be launched this month.
