A bug in an app has caused some iOS users to be unable to open the app, and affected iPhone and iPad users will see a message "This app is no longer shared with you" when trying to access the app. Multiple users have complained about this issue on the MacRumors forum and Twitter.
Dozens of Twitter complaints indicate that the issue is affecting users running both iOS 13.4.1 and iOS 13.5, and it's unclear what's causing the problem as not everyone seems to be affected. Some users experienced the issue after updating the app within the last day.
Many apps including YouTube, Twitter, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, LastPass, etc. have been experiencing issues with not working. Before writing this article, we updated the WhatsApp app on an iPhone on iOS 13.5 and received the error message.
People affected by this issue have been able to fix their apps by deleting the non-working app and reinstalling it. Uninstalling the app in the Settings interface instead of deleting it may also fix the issue.
