Today, Lu Qianhao, director of ZTE's mobile phone strategic development department, talked about the situation of ZTE's new domestic operating system, ZTE's new fulcrum OS. He said:
"ZTE's new fulcrum OS will enter more and more colleges and universities, starting with students! ZTE's new fulcrum hopes to integrate domestic basic software into the daily teaching of colleges and universities through development and promotion, so as to promote students to recognize, use and understand domestic operating systems, lay the foundation for the future talent training of domestic basic software, and thus better promote the development of domestic basic software."
From the pictures and texts released by Lu Qianhao, we can see that ZTE's new fulcrum OS has been successfully applied in Xi'an Peihua College, and ZTE's new fulcrum OS will enter more colleges and universities in the future.
Some people may not know about ZTE's new OS, so let's talk about it here:
It is reported that ZTE's new desktop operating system is a desktop operating system developed based on the open source Linux core. It supports domestic chips (Loongson, Zhaoxin, Shenwei, ARM) and software and hardware. It can meet daily office use and has been adopted by many commercial, government and educational institutions.
ZTE's new fulcrum operating system is not only beautiful and easy to use, but also compatible with daily office software running on the Windows platform. It has built-in firewalls, multi-level permission control and other security mechanisms. It has undergone rigorous testing and has obtained certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to enterprise and personal versions, ZTE's new fulcrum operating system can also be customized for professional equipment, ticket machines, touch screens, ATMs, operating consoles, etc.
The current dilemma facing this operating system is that there are too few compatible software. Officials say this is a core challenge of the operating system and requires a long process.
