Recently there have been rumors that Google services will be deleted after the Chinese version of Sony Xperia mobile phone is upgraded to the Android 10 operating system. Tonight, digital blogger ZACKBUKS consulted relevant Sony personnel and confirmed that they will not be deleted.
ZACKBUKS said on Weibo that Sony R&D confirmed that after the Chinese Xperia phones are upgraded to Android 10, the Google services will not be deleted from the models that have the Google service framework. We will contact customer service to confirm this on Monday, please stop spreading rumors.
It is understood that Sony officially announced the Android 10 update plan for its Xperia phones in November last year. Sony Xperia 1 and Sony Xperia 5 phones began to receive updates in December 2019; in addition, Sony Xperia 10, Sony Xperia 10 Plus, Sony XZ2, Sony XZ2 Compact, Sony XZ2 Premium and Sony XZ3 will begin updating to Android 10 in early 2020.
